Ellen is known for her skills in custom floral design. She has given design presentations to organizations throughout the San Francisco Peninsula and has included entries in local horticultural organizations. She has decorated for numerous weddings, receptions, and other events.

This chair was the opening presentation at one of the annual Spring garden tours for Gamble Gardens in Palo Alto.
“Birch Brunch” was one of the table setting entries in the ballroom at the wondrous 654 acre Filoli estate in Woodside. Some said it was the hit of this year’s Filoli Flower Show.


At the members reception for Cycles of History, an exhibition of classic bicycles dating back to the late 1800’s at the Museum of American Heritage in Palo Alto, this centerpiece was ‘spokesman’ for the refreshment table
This floral design was an entry in the 2006 Sonoma County Harvest Fair.


This arrangement of carved white pumpkins with potato bird’s nests, bagel candle holders, and other autumn bounty was the opening for a holiday presentation for Westridge Garden Club.
